Mother’s Day, this is the day we celebrate and honor all Mother’s. They hold a special place in our hearts for all of the work and dedication they have shown us, by teaching us right from wrong and guiding us through life and its obstacles. Mothers are always there when you need them the most to help you through your problems or just to talk to; as the saying goes “Mothers always know best.”

Spring has sprung and Easter is just around the corner! Easter is great holiday for getting together with your family, friends and loved ones. It’s time to cut the grass and plant flowers. You can even plant a small...

Mardi Gras!!! Yes, it’s slowly approaching and being from Mobile, Alabama, us “Mobilians” can hardly wait for the upcoming celebrations to begin. Mobile is not only recognized as celebrating the first-known American Mardi Gras celebration in 1703, (yes, even before New Orleans), but also as home of “America’s Family Mardi Gras”, delighting both young and old from around town and across the nation. This magnificent celebration lasts for over two and a half weeks and ends on Fat Tuesday, the day before Lent. For weeks the streets of downtown Mobile are filled with the sights and...
