Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day, this is the day we celebrate and honor all Mother’s. They hold a special place in our hearts for all of the work and dedication they have shown us, by teaching us right from wrong and guiding us through life and its obstacles. Mothers are always there when you need them the most to help you through your problems or just to talk to; as the saying goes “Mothers always know best.”

A mother doesn’t necessarily have to be someone who gave birth to you either. A mother can be any woman who has helped raise you and guide you through life. Throughout your life, you may have experienced a few mothers. As they say, it takes an entire village to raise a child. And within that village you will know many mothers who have taught you life lessons and embedded skills in your life that you will always carry with you.

My mother is truly a tremendous women, she gave up her life to raise me and care for me, and was always there for me no matter what the situation was. She sat up many nights rocking me to sleep while I just cried. She would do these things knowing she had to get up the next morning for work and not once thinking how she was going to make it through the next day with little to no sleep. She always knew how to make things better with just a simple word, hug, or even smile.

Mothers are always there to kiss any boo-boo or to comfort you when you’re scared. They wipe away the tears you’ve cried throughout your life. Whether you’re crying over a skinned knee, a wrecked bicycle, or even a broken heart, mothers will always be there to make everything better. It doesn’t matter how old you are, your mother will always look at you like you’re her baby, and that is truly a special sentiment.

Mothers have a bond with their child before they are even born; knowing they are carrying and protecting something so special inside of them has to be so remarkable and precious. In my honest opinion, there is no other love better or stronger than the love of a Mother.  This is for all Mother’s out there, I wish you ALL a very happy and blessed Mother’s Day. We thank you for all that you do, all that you have done, and all that you will do.
