1. Turn off and unplug humidifier.
   
   
2. Lift and remove motor housing from base.
   
   
3. Remove filter.
   
   
4. Wet the new filter and place inside the unit.
   
   
5. Replace the motor housing.
   
   
6. For optimum performance replace filter twice a season or more often in hard water areas.
